Job Description
- Plan and coordinate field service activities to ensure timely response to client requests.
- Assign service tasks to field engineers based on skills, location, and availability.
- Maintain real-time tracking of service tickets and technician deployments
- Monitor service desk tickets and ensure prompt dispatch of field engineers for onsite support.
- Ensure proper documentation of service calls, escalations, and resolutions.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding on-site IT support scheduling and updates.
- Communicate job status, delays, and resolutions to clients in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and procurement.
- Manage the availability and deployment of IT assets, spare parts, and tools for field engineers.
- Track and maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper allocation for field operations.
- Work with procurement teams to order necessary IT hardware and accessories
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- CCNA or CompTIA Network + Certified (desired)
- 1+ years of experience in field service coordination, IT operations, or technical support.
- Proficient in English language (verbal and written)
- Capability to efficiently manage client relationships.
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT services company is highly preferred.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to service coordination.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple service requests efficiently.
