Roles & Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting. Develop a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and client needs to identify areas for growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance our product offerings, expand our market reach, and drive revenue growth.
  • Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to support the sales process, including proposal development, presentations, and contract negotiations. Provide guidance and support to ensure the successful conversion of leads into customers.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats. Utilize market insights to inform strategic decision-making and adjust business development strategies as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Performance Measurement: Track and analyze key performance metrics related to business development activities, including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and revenue generation. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Motivated self-starter with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
